Where are you located?

Currently, I don't operate from a physical storefront; instead, this endeavor serves as a "side-gig" for me. Consequently, my availability may fluctuate, resulting in unconventional working hours.

I just called and you didn't answer?

It's possible that you've reached out outside of my regular availability, which typically spans from 3:30 PM to 10:00 PM. However, if you kindly leave your name and phone number, rest assured that I'll promptly return your call at my earliest opportunity.

How much is it?

My standard rate is $35 per hour for most services, although some offerings come with a fixed fee. For instance, tasks that require a minimal time investment, such as those taking approximately 5 minutes, may incur a flat charge of $30. Conversely, services necessitating an hour-long effort will be billed at the hourly rate.

What makes you different from other tech shops?

Unlike other tech shops burdened with significant overhead costs, including building maintenance and employee benefits, my approach prioritizes transparency and fairness. Having worked in a retail tech environment, I am familiar with the practice of marking up part prices, which I find unacceptable. I believe customers should only pay for labor. Thus, I am committed to offering cost-effective solutions, ensuring you receive the most economical options for repairing your computer while upholding high-quality service standards.

Do you do free estimates?

While computer building services are exempt, please note that my expertise comes with a nominal fee. A $25 diagnostic charge applies for all other services. However, should you opt to proceed with repairs through my service, I will gladly waive the diagnostic fee and only bill for the repair itself.

How does building a computer work?

I offer free estimates for computer builds using a platform with parts lists and purchasing options. Before providing an estimate, I'll ask about your computer usage to find the best options for you. Payment is required upfront.

Do you work on mobile devices like phones?

While I understand that mobile devices play an increasingly important role in today's digital world, I unfortunately do not work on them. screen cracks are probably the most requested to get fixed, and from my prior experience, the labor to fix the mobile devices is about the same if not more than it would be to just replace the device itself. I strongly recommend to keep your mobile device backed up, including contacts.

Do you work on apple products?

I don't usually work on apple products, because apple has basically "child-proofed" their ecosystem, and replacing parts in their products can result in voided warranties and some features that won't work post-repair, this is due to apple being against the "right-to-repair" Which means that they don't want anyone other than themselves working on their products. As far as Macbooks and iMac's, Let me know what you have going on with it, and I'll see what I can do.

How can I trust you?

Although I may not hold formal certifications, I believe my dedication to excellence and proven track record speak volumes about my ability to effectively diagnose and resolve computer issues. My years of experience in the field have equipped me with practical knowledge and troubleshooting skills that have allowed me to successfully address a wide range of technical challenges.
